Another Monday morning, and another week of work for many (including us)! We've been busy since you last heard from us, and we've pitched to the panel and are waiting for the results. An amazing experience, but we must admit, the 4:45 A.M start was a little difficult to digest. If you haven't seen Olivia's pitch, you can check it out at: https://vimeo.com/169110026 and we'd love to know what you think.
Many of you may have heard, that the people's choice award has gone live on the platform too, so we'd love it if you could give us a vote at the same place as last time: www.bit.ly/vmbvoom
Thanks again for everything that you've done so far, you've been great, and we're so happy to see that so many of you have signed up to be one of the first users! We're going to be releasing some more information on that soon, so keep an eye out! As always, your support means so much to us, and regardless of whether we make it through to the next round, we'll always remember that it was you that got us shortlisted to the Pitchathon!
Hope you all have a good week, and please help us share our vision! You can keep up with everything travel-related on our Facebook (fb.com/kompasapp) and Twitter pages (@KOMPASapp). As always, if you have any questions, please ask! Thanks in advance for voting.
All the best,

I'm excited to announce, that Kompas has been shortlisted for the Virgin #VOOM competition! After a stressful few moments, and a hard push at the end, we managed to do enough to be selected for the Pitchathon. I'll now be up against 79 businesses, and I hope to make it through to the next round!
We're one step closer to pitching to Richard Branson, and we couldn't have done it without you, so we can't thank you enough for your support. This is the start of our journey in this competition, and it's going to be an exciting one! Thanks again, and keep an eye out for the live stream.
If you want to keep up to date with the business you can find us on the platforms below:

We're in the final few hours, and we're so close to making it through to the next round. Things have been getting very difficult, but we really want to make it through. We can't thank you enough for all your support so far, we'd never have expected that we'd do so well! If you can, please show our pitch to the person next to you, and ask them kindly to vote.
As we're a startup that has bootstrapped to date, we aren't able to give anything away, and we really just hope that you believe in what we're doing. However, we were sent this competition with the prize being a month's free co-working space in Thailand, something that for any startups, could be a good chance to look at new markets. We thought we'd share the link with you anyway: http://bit.ly/kompasgiveaway. I hope you win.
But please once again, take a second to share our pitch with your friends, family, pets and co-workers (www.bit.ly/vmbvoom) so that we can get through to the next round. Thanks again for all your support.
All the best,

With only one day to go until everything wraps up, things are getting pretty tense. Thank you for voting for us, we couldn't have got to where we are without you. That said, we're entering the final push, and even with your help we've fallen out of the top 80. If you could share our pitch with just one other person, we'd go from 88th to 5th place (thats if everyone just tells one person).
If you could help us spread the word, and keep us in the top 80, it would mean the world to us, and give us a fighting chance at this competition. Thanks for all your support so far! As always, if there are any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch!

You're brilliant, and we're so glad you believe in what we do. Thank you for voting for us! That said, there's no guarantee that we're going to get through to the Pitchathon, which is why we need more votes.
If you could share our pitch and ask others to vote for us, we'd really appreciate it. We don't want to pester you, but we really want to see our application change the way we travel around the world, and we can't do that without everyone's support.
Our co-founder has just got back from Bangkok representing the United Kingdom in the world finals of the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards, and although he didn't win, he still had the opportunity to share the idea with people from all over the world. You'll find out more about that soon.
You really are brilliant, and we're so grateful for your support. Thanks in advance, and we hope you'll help us make KOMPAS your pocket guide to the world's urban jungles.
